গল্পঃ One of my favorite memories of how my mother taught me the value of money happened when I was ten. I used my birthday money to buy a flashy remote-control car I saw on TV. She didn’t stop me—she let me make the decision. The toy broke within days, and I was disappointed. Instead of saying, “I told you so,” my mom sat beside me and said, “Money is like time—you only spend it once. Spend it wisely.” Then she gave me a small notebook and wrote on the first page: “What are you saving for?” She taught me to list what I wanted, wait, and decide if I still wanted it. That small act sparked a lifelong habit of mindful spending. Through that broken toy, she showed me that true value lies not in what you buy, but in the thought behind it. That lesson has stayed with me forever.
